I know this topic has been hotly debated on the forum, so I want to share with you about fake CPU load in an honest, more accurate way with constructiveness, not controversy. * Conditions for CPU to work:
– Vcore
– Pulse from clockgen
– Reset signal from chip north
– Good power signal from male chip or IO
* Symbols on CPU load dummy.
– Vcore: CPU power
– BLCK0, BLCK1 : clock to CPU from clockgen
– VREF0,1,2,3 : CPU power VID reference voltage
– CPU_RESET : reset signal from chip north
– PWROK: OK signal from the male chip
* How to test and measure on fake load CPU.
– If the source Vcore is good, you will be able to measure the voltage VD: 1.2V to 1.5V
– BLCK0, BLCK1: This signal is only important when Vcore is available, used to diagnose in Pan main with enough power, reset pulse but main does not boot to eliminate the possibility of clockgen damage. If the clockgen is good, you will measure 0.4V, and if the clockgen fails, it will be 0V. If you don’t have Vcore, you’ll get a value of 1.4 to 1.8V .
– CPU_RESET : This pin must have 1.2 to 1.5V, if not, it’s due to chip error north (main must have enough power)
– PWROK: This pin must have 1.5V. If not, you must check the male or IO depending on the main (main source is sufficient)
– VREF : reference voltage must be 0.8V.
