Hi guys
The problem of making male chip legs is probably still afraid of many people, because they think it is very difficult and complicated. I used to think so too, but after doing it, I found it completely quick and simple. It only takes about 20 minutes to finish the chip.
Diseases related to male chips are often caused by shorted chips that make the main unable to power, male chips make the machine not accept USB or hard drives. If not, it is considered to have abandoned the main. For male chips, I usually buy the main body and take it over instead.
To make male chip pins, you need the following tools:
Soldering iron (this is a must-have for hardware repair), heat torch machine.
0.76mm ball lead for male chip NH82801DB and EB. The 0.6mm ball lead is used a lot for the NH82801GB chip (this chip is very common on the main 945, G31, G41 ram 2), buy a jar for about 300K and use it for a whole year, or you can buy a small bottle to make it. got 2 chips for about 20K CZK
Lead draw wire, this is used to get lead on male chip and on mainboard. Buy about 10K / 1 roll
Chip solder grease, you should use kingbo grease for 200K / 1 jar is also tired.
The grid for the chipset feet, here I am using the grid for the GB chip, which costs about 80K, if I make another chip, buy another grid, or use a multi-purpose grid, but having to take the ball out is a bit tiring.
Let’s start making chipset legs.
+ Step 1: Use a copper base and apply double-sided glue and then put the male chip in to fix the chip. You put some solder grease on the chipset belly, then use a soldering iron and lead wire to clean the male chip’s belly, remember to rub it evenly to pour the ball of lead on it. When finished, use aromatic gasoline, acetone to clean the chip.
+ Step 2: Use a cotton ball to apply a thin layer of solder paste on the male chip, remember to only apply a thin layer or not later use a torch it will blow the ball everywhere. Insert the men’s chip grid and hold it with your thumb and start pouring marbles into the net. Pour all the hand, then start to remove the finger and hold the bottom, continue to pour the ball to fill the chip surface. Use paper, brush to sweep all remaining marbles on the net.
+ Step 3: After pouring, put the chip on the base to dry, pay attention to move slightly to avoid deflecting the ball. Use 2 hands to gently hold the net to remove from the male chip (lighten your hands), if your foot is missing marbles, you will pick up more marbles to add. After taking out the net, that’s it.
+ Step 4: Put the chip in the plastic base, here I put it on the PCI slot of the main body (not on the copper plate, copper as heat sink should close the legs for a long time). You use the torch to adjust the wind to 0 and the temperature is about 220 degrees, if the torch does not show heat, then adjust it at level 4. Then proceed to torch, let the torch head from high to low to prevent the ball from running. After you see that the ball is sticky, you put another layer of grease on the chip and then adjust the max wind (adjust the maximum wind on the torch) and torch again so that the lead is in the right place. Once done, put the chip on the copper heat sink and clean it with aromatic gasoline. If a certain number of pins is missing, just pick up the ball and put it in.
Those are the steps to make male chip pins, hoping to help newcomers not have to be afraid of making chip pins anymore. After that, close the male chip to the mainboard in the post: replace the male chip. Thank you guys
