Can’t access the web even though there’s still internet

When I can’t access the web even though I still have internet when using Mozilla Firefox browser, or chrome browser, I can’t even access yahoo chat. Although the device still has a network, it can still access some other websites. When unable to log in, firefox and chrome browsers often report an error as shown below.

On firefox browser, it gives an error “This Connection is Untrusted”, ” Technical Details “, I Understand the Risks “.If using Vietnamese, the browser will report this connection untrusted, and guide me how to fix it and detail it. If you still want to go, click : I understand the risks and add the exception of web access.

Cause: There are many reasons such as because the page has a virus, so the browser warns. But the most common case is due to incorrect time adjustment. To adjust the time, click on the bottom right corner of the screen to adjust.

But for some machines, every time I turn off the machine, unplug the power, I can adjust the date and time to access the web. And every time I restart my computer, I have to press the F1 or F2 key to get to win (depending on the mainboard that requires pressing what key). Usually the machine gives an error:

Press F1 to run setup.
Press F2 to load default values and continue.
Or Press F1 to continue .

Cause: Because the CMOS battery is dead, every time you unplug or turn off the machine, it will be. The cCMOS battery on the mainboard is used to feed the BIOS, keeping the correct date and time and the settings in CMOS.

The picture above is the CMOS battery on the mainboard P5G41C-M LX, similarly on other mainboards. You click on the latch to take out the battery and proceed to change another CMOS battery. If it can’t be replaced, use a sharp knife, scrape off the bios battery contact on the main and pry the contact up a bit so that it eats the battery (because it’s been oxidized for a long time, so the contact is poor).
